I would like to work for your project. according to the details you provided I guess you want to control a stripe of RGB LEDS with arduino with all possible function on it. correct me if I'm wrong. I have designed a LEDs Strip controller for normal red LED I think I can modify it for RGB LED Strip also it is controlled by music inbuilt in Microcontroller or you can add more functions to it . Hello, I am an electronics and communication engineer and working with this type of systems. I have similar RGB lighting in my room also... I can fulfill your requirements within two days... the rgb leds can be controlled separately.... for play this with a music you need a circuit that filter the input analog audio to different frequency band and glow the leds respectively. similarly you need a cercuit to detect the darkness.... You will have around 60 led per meter,,, if you need very discrete animation or pattern with maximum resolution. you need one multiplexer or you have to use an arduino mega... I can definitely do this project ..please inform what type of animation or pattern you need....

As per the description following could be a possible architecture for the system. More can be added though. There are 4 parts to it - The controller (Arduino), Power Source (Power Bank), Communication (BT or BLE) and sensors (Sound - Microphone, Movement - IR or ultrasound, Dark - Light sensor). As for the animations & timing of the LED strip - the controller firmware can be designed take care of it - I will provide you 5 different animations as per your liking. This LED strip typically requires 12V to operate - in case that is not already available - will have to boost the 5V to get one and is certainly doable. Mobile app for connecting over BT can be done in Android. I wont be able to support on iOS or Windows. Please note that the bid amount & time is for the above architecture. As I said, more can be added e.g. it can be IOT enabled by providing WiFi connectivity. It can have more sensors which can respond to shakes, gestures etc. - this however will take more effort based on what all you want. T & R Alok Pugalia
