Looking for an Arduino hobbyist to code the following project: When the Arduino powers up, there is a default message displayed. When the the momentary buttonis pushed it triggers 1 of 2 messages to displayed on an LCD screen for approximately 60 seconds and then it reverts to the default message. When the momentary button is pushed again the second message is triggered and again stays for approximately 60 seconds then goes back to the default. Ideally it would be great if the default message itself, was rotating between 2-3 messages every 30 seconds. But this is not a requirement. Please state your experience with Arduino and how quickly you can have the work done. Thanks! ------- LCD is wired as follows ------- /* The circuit: * LCD VSS to GND * LCD VDD to +5v * LCD Contrast to resistor + GND * LCD RS pin to digital pin 7 * LCD R/W pin to ground * LCD Enable pin to digital pin 6 * LCD D4 pin to digital pin 5 * LCD D5 pin to digital pin 4 * LCD D6 pin to digital pin 3 * LCD D7 pin to digital pin 2 * LCD Backlight GND to arduino GND * LCD Backlight to >40ohm to +5v */

I have worked with arduino for over a year now. I have worked with LCDs, 7-segments and all the basic stuff. I have communicated with devices over I2C and SPI and I have created an orientation tracking algorithm using accelerometer, gyroscope and magnetometer all running on an arduino UNO. I have used the interrupt/timer functionality quite a lot therefore your requested application can be easily done in 2-3 hours time max in worst case scenario. I have got my own LCD and my own Button and an arduino uno so I can test while implementing. You just give me the project and you can consider it done.
