A young Northern Virginia based 501 (c)(3) charity seeks game developer to help create an animated game for use as a competitive fundraising platform. Both the platform and the marketing plan are unique and have never been attempted before. The nonprofit has engaged undergraduate Computer Science and Software Engineering students to create custom software for the administrative side of the fundraising platform. Presently a team of seven computer science and software engineering majors are working on the third year of the project. The project is overseen by the nonprofit's Chief Information Officer (CIO) and Chief Technical Officer (CTO) both of whom are professional software engineers who volunteer with the nonprofit. The animated game will be the "front end" of the platform and must be compatible with smart phones, tablets and computers. The developer will work with the admin software development team under the direction of the nonprofit's CIO and CTO. The developer must possess the widest range of skills and capabilities needed to execute the game development.
