This is a very simple project. You'll convert a 4400 word document from MS Word to HTML. You must convert it "by hand" (NOT with Word's "save to HTML") so the completed file has clean HTML with no unneccesary tags. Based on the formatting in the original document, you will apply paragraph tags with several different CSS "classes." You will download an archive file which contains the document and a sample showing the format for the completed HTML file. Your final deliverable must match the sample file. There should be no HTML tags that are not in the sample file. The completed HTML file must validate as "XHTML 1.0 Transitional." Single quotes must be replaced with the HTML entity ’ Curly quotes must be replaced by the HTML entities “ and ” Ellipsis (three periods) characters must be replaced with the HTML entity … All tags must be removed. All bold text must be tagged <strong> (not <b>). All italic text must be tagged <em> (not <i>). All other special characters must be eliminated.
