Hello, Just as a short introduction, I am a Windows system engineer by day with deep experience in desktop/server administration including Active Directory, Group Policy and WSUS (Windows Server Update Services). I understand your requirements as I have set up similar environments in the past many times and can start implementing your requirements through team viewer immediately. Everything from step 1 to 4 can be done in under 20 minutes, the majority of the time that will take is for setting up WSUS on your server to centralize Windows Updates and push it out to your client computers automatically (this is easy for me to do, but installing and setting it up takes time waiting for Windows). Hi, I can help you with that. Most of the things you are asking can be done with Active directory Policies. The Updates... it's a bit more tricky, you will need WSUS server, and then use policies to redirect the PCs to the WSUS server. We can talk more about this if you choose me. thanks.

Most of these changes will be made and pushed via group policy. The only potentially challenging part will be the updates. If your server is not setup for this already it may require install of additional Windows Server Roles that could require a reboot. Just and FYI.

I am working with Microsoft for last 5 years. I am tech lead in active directory team. I will be able to help you easily as far as my knowledge about ad is concerned. I can teach you few tips and tricks about AD for free.

My understanding is that you would like the following work completed: 1) Implement a Group Policy Object that disables write access to Removable Storage devices and apply to non-administrator users. 2) Implement a Group Policy that will set Windows Updates to download and install automatically and reboot at a particular time. 3) Demonstrate how to manually apply the GPO to specific workstations and/or manually propagate the GPO to different domain controllers. If I have misunderstood anything please let me know before accepting my bid.
