Build an Online Store

A full written brief and costing document is attached to this advert. ------ Background Information ----- We have already created an eCommerce site for our client which targets regular customers. The client has requirement for an additional Magento instance which targets trade / wholesale customers. There are key differences in the way that trade customers will purchase from the site, that means we require to have our entire Magento instance copied and modified. This job needs to be done reasonably quickly and we are in the rare situation that we cannot deal with this job internally. The winner of this contract will have full support of our in house development team to get the job done quickly and effectively. ------ Project details -------- A copy of our previously built client eCommerce store needs to be taken and hosted on a sub domain, with the following modifications. ***** please note. The Magento store that should be copied already has all the products listed. These will not change. It is an exact copy then modifications needed***** The Magento store must communicate with our clients internal stock management system. There is a custom plug in developed already that outputs data from the stock management system into tables. This data can then be pulled into Magento. The key features of the trade/wholesale site are as follows - Immediate customer log in. The customer must not be able to view any aspect of the site without logging in first. Customer must be able to order against their credit limit. Their credit limit will be established by pulling in data from the tables output by the clients stock management system. The credit limit needs to be visible in 'my account' As well as ordering against their credit limit (as above) the customer must be also be able to checkout using the checkout system we have already integrated to the retail site. Customer must be able to order items that are currently out of stock. **** this is a key difference to the site we have already developed for retail as on that site, users cannot order out of stock items **** Plug in needs to be configured to deal with stock returns, this data then needs to be visible in 'my account' Users need to be able to sign contracts within 'my account' We have already integrated Wordpress into the clients website to handle content pages. The trade site must integrate with Wordpress via universal log in and links to the sections that are powered by Wordpress need to be visible in 'my account' ******************************* The above covers it!
