Automatic Import Via Magmi to Magento

Sometimes ago we paid a company to build a magento online store for us and they did it. But the store was unacceptable slow and did go down every week almost because of the server they got so we suggested to change the server. The company agreed just under the term to cancel the contract so we did it.
Now we got our site running great on our own server, but can’t get the magmi module running that the company was using to import products from manufacturer xml files into our magento store.
Well, we need somebody that can get our magmi module running or implement his own way of importing products to magento store and daily updating the quantities i prices. It would be great to have a filter so that products that have quantities=0 and no images don’t go into the store.
