I have MS in Information Security with research interest of Cryptography. I have implemented Cryptography algorithms in Java and C, written security solutions in J2EE and Java, have implemented datastructures in Java, and built two websites for research / proof-of-concept purposes. Additionally, ~2 years of IT experience. I have taken Graduate level courses in Cryptography and Security that dealt with analysis of Cryptographic protocols, my Masters level project involved design of a Cryptographic protocol for a specific authentication problem in three-party settings. I have executed a number of projects that focussed almost entirely / heavily on Cryptography. I have also written Cryptographically signed Java applet for a J2EE application. “IMPROVEMENT IN RSA Digital Signature Algorithm BY USING A NEW NUMBER” ABSTRACT The growth of the Internet as a vehicle for secure communication and electronic commerce has brought cryptographic processing performance to the forefront of high throughput system design. Currently, there are two popular kinds of cryptographic protocols: symmetric key and asymmetric key protocols. In the symmetric key protocols both communicating partners used a common key (the secret key) to encrypt and decrypt messages. In the public key protocols we have two associated keys; one is kept private by the owner and used either for decryption (confidentiality) or encryption (signature) of messages, and another key is published in the public domain (public key server) to be used for the reverse operation or decryption. RSA is an algorithm for public key cryptography that is based on the presumed difficulty of factoring large integers, the factoring problem. The prime factors must be kept secret. A digital signature algorithm is a mathematical scheme which provides authenticity of a digital message and assures the recipient that the message was created by an authorized sender and was not modified in transit. RSA Digital Signature Algorithm (RSADSA) proposed by Rivest, Shamir and Adleman is a popular and well known digital signature algorithm. The RSA signature algorithm is unforgivable in the random oracle model assuming the integer factorization problem is unsolvable***
