I have 20 interviews to transcribe. Interviews are between 3 - 25 mins. Altogether there are 4.6 hours of transcription. I have estimated the job will take 10 hours maximum. Each interview is an audio quicktime file. If necessary I can change them to MP3. I have attached one of the audio files. All 20 files can be accessed through Dropbox. Use 'Q' for question, and 'A' for answer. Words that are Maori (or difficult to make out) can be left with a dash. The transcriptions are for personal use. I am a filmmaker looking for a guide to the interviews rather than 'publishable quality' transcriptions - as long as you get the meaning across. I have attached a sample audio file so you will get the gist.

I'm an experienced transcriptionist, I have more than 6 years experience in this field. I will provide high quality, perfect grammar. I am also well read, articulate and a perfectionist when it comes to providing a quality product. I am familiar with current affairs, many different accents and a wide array of technical language. I spend a lot of time on the internet looking for proper spelling and details. I often listen to many passes of an audio segment to provide the most complete, correct product possible. I have an excellent command of the language and necessary grammar/syntax conventions, and am able to discern rhythm and cadence of speech. Unlike some of the other bidders, I will personally transcribe the interview for you as I work for myself and by myself. I am an American by birth and a native English speaker with a Bachelor's of Science degree. Further, I have extensive experience in writing academic papers. In college, I never received less than an "A" on any one paper and mostly received "100%." My transcription skills range from medical to simple voicemail messages. Please note that I have taken and successfully passed both English and Academic Writing to Level 2, both with high percentile scores.
