I am an English teacher looking for a TPRS teacher (or someone familiar with the method) to provide a series of 4 stories (3 mini stories and 1 main story) for level 1 stories. Each story should be approximately 4 to 6 paragraphs long. It must include vocabulary wordlist for the chosen theme. It should also include 2 basic questions...for each sentence. Preferably...the stories ideas would be taken from a recent movie. (That simply means...that after studying the stories...students should be familiar with the vocabulary and actions going on in those sections of the movie...so we could do a classroom activity using the chosen movie.) P.S. If you aren't a teacher...but can write good stories...you can find out more about TPRS at [login to view URL] or someone doing something similar at [login to view URL] I can provide some sample stories to show you what I need. These are stories for young adults...not children. Please make sure you are thoroughly familiar with TPRS before bidding. Although most good stories will work...there are certain TPRS things that are essentials. So, if you have already mastered TPRS and have used this method please tell me when and how. It will definitely give you brownie points for consideration during the bid. ;)

I see that you need 2 basic questions on each sentence, but may be it's better for perception to organise all questions in a circle? SO, you can easily see what is going on and how the discussion develops? Also it would give the possibility to show interconnections between different questions. In my teacher's experience I used this method partially (for the entrance examinations to High School our children need to know grammar, this is the priority) for teaching them how to speak (produce, answer questions). I didn't take a particular story, but the abstracts from short stories with the simple storytelling... But this TPRS storytelling is a very interesting method. I like teaching English and English itself, and that would be a nice addition for my professional experience of teaching. bored by another bidder who ask you to choose him/her? english is fun, and fun is english. I pick this words up from "knowledge is fun and fun is knowledge" then make some changes. for young adult or children is not different, that is my perception. people, that-is-not-a-children-anymore, needs simple english. if you found the different, it's about what the first lesson that they get is. romantic stories are so popular in teenagers communities. Well, ya, you can see my level in english. Need a full story? or just a plot to test me? ;)
