We are very interested in the new and growing world of rapid prototyping. There are 3D printers, 5 axis CNC, laser scanning and more activities within the UK. We'd like to know how big demand might be, who the competition are, where they are, what services they offer? we are most interested in the small prototyping and one-off pieces in high quality such as toy and jewelry production. We are only interested in the United Kingdom for now. Some links are for the USA but they are more machinery suppliers in some cases than 'competition'. We'd like to have better quality machines (look at the Ultra 2 link) and ensure it is busy for every possible hour (no idle time). Geographic location of companies in the UK would be interesting too. Industrial Plastic Fabrications is our ultimate business model.
