Add feature to open-source 3D printing plugin for OctoPrint

Hey! I run a 3D printing service and would like to add functionality to this plugin([login to view URL]) for the software I use which is OctoPrint. The software tracks the history of each 3D print and associates some variables with it such as print time, filament used etc. I would like more variables to be associated with each file. Each file is a gcode file and the variables that I want associated with each print are in the beginning and end of each file, preceded by a ";". Like this: ; profileName,Aurora-Red-PLA (modified) ; profileVersion,2016-12-20 13:22:18 ; baseProfile,AuroraPLA (modified) The variables/comments are split up so that the variable name follows the ";" and then the variable value follows the ",". That's also how it should be entered into the database. There are also comments in the middle of the file, also marked by ";", I don't want these added in. At the end, I need to be able to download the CSV file, just as the original plugin and have all these variables and their associated values so I can do some data analysis on them. Your work will be released open-source and credit will be given to you for programming and given to me for sponsoring. Hope you find this project interesting! It should be quite easy! I won't be able to constantly test it, so you should be able to deliver a finished product by testing it yourself by running octoprint and doing fake prints or something similar. Thanks! Dane
