We need a command line utility and (if necessary) a script that can wrap an existing .EXE installer created with InstallShield so it can be distributed via GPO. The MSI should execute the embedded EXE file, wait for the EXE to exit, and then exit itself. Our installer handles Add/Remove programs, files, links, icons, registry, everything. This MSI should create no registry entries, no Add/Remove program entries, no uninstaller, NOTHING. When the MSI exits, it should leave no trace of itself. Please note that we need a hands-off command line utility with no GUI. This process will be completely automated. It's OK to suggest WiX, EXE-to-MSI, or any other PD or commercial utility that we will acquire. You do not have to write the utility, just any script that it needs to do the job. The attached .ZIP file contains one of our installer .EXE files.

Hi there, I have great experience building installers for windows, so, here I am. Well, I have a great background using WiX, and also InstallShield. Now, in order to embed existing installer into a MSI package we should make sure that existing exe is not an installshield MSI based project (you can't run a msi installer within InstallExecute sequence of another msi package). Also, what involve converting existing project into msi installer project, from InstallShield. Best regards, Sorin

Good day sir, I would love to work on this. I've worked as Desktop Support for Teletech previously and have experience remote loading scripts.
