Adblock using Webbrowser Control in VB.NET

I need to add an effective ad-blocker to my Web Browser program. My web browser code is written in VB.NET and uses the Webbrowser control. I need a code that will block all ads from the webpage. The ads could be as flash banners, images or videos. This code should prevent these ads from downloading and displaying on the webpage. It should NOT be a code that downloads them and then strips them from the webpage HTML as that is a waste of bandwidth. I should be able to insert the code in my project and add/modify few lines in the browser 'before navigate' function or the 'navigating' function to make it work. ## Deliverables Hi prospective bidders, I have attached a sample VB.NET project of the webbrowser. The goal is to integrate an ad-blocker in this application such that when the user checks the "Block Ads" checkbox and clicks on 'Launch' the webpage launches in the browser that is stripped of all ads (in flash, scripts, image or video form). I would specifically suggest you see how Ad-blocker add-on in Firefox performs. Infact many browsers have their own versions of ad-blockers and they all work pretty well. Please let me know if you need more information regarding the goal of this project. I understand that its a challenging task but it has been done before so there is a lot of precedent to use as a guide. Thanks!
