Customize AddThis smart layers code through API

I want to customize the AddThis Smart Layers on my website. See video on AddThis Smart Layers: [login to view URL] Here is their documentation for customization: [login to view URL] Specifically I want to do these things, and I am not certain if they are all possible: 1) Add text \"Follow Us\" (or something similar) to left of follow buttons 2) Add text \"Share This\" (or something similar) above share buttons 3) Add a follow button that links to a MailChimp e-mail subscription form 4) Integrates use of custom [login to view URL] short link to all sharing services 5) Possibly adjust the vertical and horizontal location of the sharing buttons for the desktop version only 6) Disable the touch (ipad) version of the buttons When responding, please respond by answering these three questions in order to be considered: 1) What is your AddThis customization experience?
