Create Two Physics Simulation

Hi, I am a mechanical engineer and a mathematical modeler with 9 international publications in mathematical modeling of physical systems all using Matlab. In past I have done 6 DOF, trajectory prediction and parameter estimation of aircrafts and can certainly help you with the project. Kindly note that above simulations required RK4 algorithm to solve the typical 18 differential equations in a typical 6DOF simulations and is well versed in the subject. However I have one doubt - if you require the simulation data as in the accelerations, velocity, displacements, orientations, etc as output or a 3D animation. As such I can provide the earlier part i.e. the mathematical and physical parameters but I do not deal in 3D animation. Kindly visit my profile for more details on my past projects. There are number of RK4 methods, such as : implicit, explicit. midpoint etc.... The main idea - find approximate value of ode solution using approximations for dy/dx and d^2y/dx^2 from function y (such as dy/dx= (y(n+1)-y(n))/(x(n+1)-x(n)) etc. .... Regards

Hi, I am Sourabh Jain, I have worked extensively on simulation of dynamical systems. As a mechanical engineer, I can successfully model 2-body motion (asteroid) and kinematics of 3-link mechanism (human jump). I have used multi-order runge-kutta method for temporal evolution modeling. RK4 is 4th order runge-kutta method where value of dependent variable (position in our case) at new time instant will be calculated using value at old time instant and 4 increments, where every increment is calculated based upon previous one. RK4 is 4th order accurate (integrated) while 5th order accurate pointwise. If you are interested to discuss it further, please let me know. Regards Sourabh

Hi, I propose implementing your simulations using the Bullet Physics library with OpenGL animation output. I know that's not what you requested, but it's an efficient and well-tested simulation tool. I would provide a way to configure the simulations (human jump: body dimensions, weight, jump force; asteroid deflection: mass, initial velocity, deflection force vectors). BTW RK4 is 4th order Runge-Kutta equation solving method
