45 days after the end of each calendar quarter, various fund managers in the US file with the SEC, a 13F report. This shows what their holdings were for the past quarter- any new positions added, any positions reduced, sold off, etc. The report is usually available on the SEC website and is in HTML format. I woild like to have a program set up that will quickly in Word, Excel or any other format highlight to me the following:
1. What new positions were added during the past quarter
2. Where there any additions to existing positions?
3. What stocks were sold off from the portfolio
4. Once the above have been identified, for the new stocks purchased in the quarter, I would like to know:
a. What % of the company does the fund manager now own?
b. What % of the total fund manager’s portfolio does this position constitute
c. What was the average price for the quarter of this stock?
