We are designing a bosuns chair for the super yacht industry to meet the unique requirements of 40m plus yachts. The product is used to clean and maintain the outboard area of super yachts by belaying from a fixed point. The chair needs to be strong, durable, very comfortable and be able to hold and store brushes buckets poles chamois it will also need a watertight bag for phones ipods etc and will need two retractable lines for hooking to chamois and water blades. The product needs to be attractive to a young male target market.

Located in Fort Collins, Colorado, USA, I am immediately available for this project and offer inventors/companies the following services: * Mechanical design solutions * CAD Solid Modeling services (using SOLID EDGE ST and SOLID WORKS, capable of creating and exporting all the industry standard file formats including .STL's) * Outsourced Rapid Prototyping (RP) * Outsourced machined prototyping * Advise on manufacturing processes * Advise on manufacturing materials * Provide overseas sourcing/guidance * Advise on the patent and trademark process I also have a background in mountain climbing and as such am extremely familiar with ropes and rope supporting systems, including anchors and belaying! I have a CAD background using Solid Edge ST3 from SIEMENS PLM Group - able to edit and produce all of the industry standard file formats (.STL, .IGES, .STEP, .X_T, etc., 2-D .DXF & .DWG AutoCAD formats). I also have designed and patented several consumer/commercial based products currently under review for such marketing channels as Walmart, Home Depot, QVC, HSN, Lowes, Bed, Bath & Beyond and the like. In addition, I have an extensive background in Rapid Prototyping and materials along with several patented inventions to my name. I am very familiar with such processes as injection molding, blow molding, SLS & SLA models, silicon LIM, roto-molding, RTV Molding, Urethane Casting, over molding and 2-shot injection molding, structural foam (RIM) technology, aluminum extrusions, anodizing, 3, 4 and 5 axis machining as well as other processes to create prototypes/production objects.
