Dear Rayv68 I am an EE graduate and have made a dual adjustable power supply before using voltage regulators. Do you need the circuit in link you provided or can I make my own as well ? The circuit you provided uses L165 but I can use LM7805 for 5V and LM7313 regulator for variable voltage from 5V to 18V. Looking forward to hear your input. I can do this within 5 days with circuit simulation and a PCB imprint along with BOM list. I use Proteus software for the purpose. Regards Hussam

I have years of experience with power electronics applications. For this design I would use a simple buck converter to drop the line voltage down ~48V, then I would use something similar to the link you posted for the final output. You left out 2 important details though: What kind of current will you be pulling? Do you need isolation on the output? Look forward to hearing from you, Collin Matthews
