Content parsing

"I plan to build a website that links to street fight video clips on other sites. I need a script created to accurately crawl through other media websites, and just get the title and link to the fight clip. I only want it to bring back links to fight clips. I would also need to have a cron job set up for the crawler so that about every 24 hours it looks for new content." ^^^I've hired someone and they've made the script, but the only thing is that it takes like 10-20 seconds to load every time the script loads. I need this fixed. The script is complete except for that little problem. It shouldnt be too big of a task.
