Colinky is about sharing links between team-members in real-time. The purpose is to allow people to organize together their online links, in a collaborative way.
Skills required:
- html,junior php,sql
- xml
- flash/flex
Collaborative framework:
- use XTWIP collaboration service [[login to view URL]]
The project requires that several users can join together into a workspace, onto which they can create/remove links, offer comments, all into a real-time collaborative environment. Everyone should see the result of others actions immediately.
User requirements:
- a web page where the user writes a name and presses a button "Create". This opens a new page with a Flex/Flash application. If the URL is accessed by multiple users, they all work on the same workspace.
- the Flex/Flash application is required to have a dashboard where users can add/edit/move/delete links. Each link has a name, the URL and an icon/small picture(online URL, not had-drive import). Show the links in a desktop-manner, icon above text.
- every action on the dashboard is to be visible instantly to all the other users that have opened the same instance of application (the same URL in browser). For that, use the XTWIP collaboration framework.
- the links can have comments attached.
- the user can save/load the workspace into a XML file.
Technical requirements:
- use XML data-model for the dashboard (the list of icons/data/comments).
- the XML should contain all the link information (name,URL,picture, position on screen, comments). For implementing save/load, request the final XML from the XTWIP service.
Deliverables:
- complete fully functional working application, in executable form as well as source code. You should provide the html/php pages, sql source, swf file/s, and flash/flex source.
- source code must be documented with comments
- a short document describing any bugs or problems the developer had with the XTWIP SDK
- deliverables must be in ready-to-run condition, as follows: the application must be able to run without errors, automatically connect to the XTWIP service and fully integrate the XTWIP SDK. The application must be tested on two separate computers to have connectivity (changes that occur in one place are sent to the other, via internet connection)
- all deliverables will be considered "work made for hire" under U.S. Copyright law. Buyer will receive exclusive and complete copyrights to all work purchased. (No GPL, GNU, 3rd party components, etc. unless all copyright ramifications are explained AND AGREED TO by the buyer on the site per the coder's Seller Legal Agreement).
