Create a dynamic book selling web page, which will integrate with a larger web site and use Amazon Web Services: E-Commerce Service (ECS) version 4.0.

The “bookstore?? is a page within a content/community web site. The store will select and display certain book titles/descriptions selected in one of three ways: 1) Editor’s Choice, 2) a dynamically-created drop down list of book categories (associated with certain search phrases); and 3) User selected keywords entered in a search box.

A user may click through from the list to additional detailed information on the title.

The script(s) will perform the search, structure the results for display, present the formatted pages to the user, and integrate the Amazon ECS “Remote Shopping Cart.?? Errors need to return a generic error message to the user and provide a detailed error message to the administrator. Finally, an administration page should be created: a) to edit the Editor’s Choice list; b) to edit the book categories and associated search phrases; c) to edit the structure and layout of the results displayed; d) to edit the CSS; e) to edit the Amazon ECS account ID.

The presentation of the bookstore page should closely match the look and feel of the existing site.

The script(s) will run as include files. If database integration is necessary, it will integrate with a MySQL database.

Additional notes:

1. Script must be written in OOP PHP4 with extensive English code comments and valid CSS.

2. Must be compliant and error-free in IE 6+ (PC), Firefox (PC and Mac), and Safari (Mac).

3. Approximate presentation space: 560 pixels wide. (The page is 760 pixels wide and approx. 200 pixels are used for a navigation column.)

4. Develop and test using your own server and Amazon ECS account

5. Coder must communicate everyday
