Create a component for VB6 Version 3

Need a strong graphics developer for fastest execution Prevoiusly this was done in VB - A fading shadow print dll. 1) The deliverable was a dll - I cannot protect it's use by other developers - needs to be an ocx. Easy to fix but ... 2) The dll was developed in VB - and it is found to be far too slow - Need an ocx/dll written to be much faster. Depending on the font size, and the shadow width, the process currently can take up to 7 seconds to print the text on the form - Must not exceed 1 seconds or its use is basicaslly void for the application New Spec: I need an OCX written in any language for VB6 that will execute the fastest. The purpose will be to print text to a form by this component with a **fading** shadow (just like "RentACoder" logo on top) The component must accept parametes for: Text Font Text color 1 pixel black border (rim) around the text Shadow color Shadow width Shadow opacity Shadow Offset from centre in 45, 90, 135, 180, 225, 270 or 315 degree options Accept (inherit) a specified form's font properties. Print the text with the shadow to the specified form at a specified position If you need to add processing steps before actually printing, it is accepted. You may wish to use methods that could be called before the print method. Note: 1) Please test with : Souvenir Lt BT Font Font size 60 Shadow width around the text of 25 pixels. Shadow opacity of 75% 2) Ave of 80 Chars to print on screen 3) Test on a form with graphic background, - lanscape scene (Full screen). This will definitey influence the speed at which the transparency is achieved in the shadow. 3) Please make sure unit testing is done before submitting it back. ## Deliverables 1) Complete and fully-functional working program(s) in executable form as well as complete source code of all work done. 2) Deliverables must be in ready-to-run condition, as follows (depending on the nature of the deliverables): a) For web sites or other server-side deliverables intended to only ever exist in one place in the Buyer's environment--Deliverables must be installed by the Seller in ready-to-run condition in the Buyer's environment. b) For all others including desktop software or software the buyer intends to distribute: A software installation package that will install the software in ready-to-run condition on the platform(s) specified in this bid request. 3) All deliverables will be considered "work made for hire" under U.S. Copyright law. Buyer will receive exclusive and complete copyrights to all work purchased. (No GPL, GNU, 3rd party components, etc. unless all copyright ramifications are explained AND AGREED TO by the buyer on the site per the coder's Seller Legal Agreement). ## Platform All version of Windows from Windows 2000 (Vista also if possible)
