I'm a teacher and I want to develop a tutorial that will assist students. I'm brand new to this, however, and want to describe my idea to an experienced coder/programmer so that I may learn more, improve my idea, and make informed decisions.
My idea, so for, is to have a series of flash clips/files that provide information to the viewer and end with an instruction. The viewer will then choose between some values (0-5) which will determine the next flash file to be seen. Some values will put the viewer in a loop. Other values will ultimately direct the viewer to the end.
My own online research lead me to [login to view URL] and their products Director MX and Flash MX. The examples provided appeared to be similar to what I would like.
I first want to pilot the idea and, if it can be shown to be effective, then I want to develop the program some more.
## Deliverables
I would like to speak with someone over the phone. I would be happy to call sometime this weekend. I can't imagine the call lasting more than an hour and I would restrict my time to that amount. I want someone (with patience) who will ask questions to get an clear understanding, describe my options, and educate me about those options.
I want to be able to make informed sensible decisions and minimize the risk of being lead down a wrong path because of ignorance.
The coder will have dispatched his/her obligation when my questions are answered or at the end of 60 minutes.
