Dental Alliance Web Portal Development Brief Background Information ? This brief defines the requirements for an organization portal website for professionals with an integrated ecommerce platform. ? There is no previous website or portal ? The portal is intended to build marketing databases, share knowledge and business development resources and leverage the power of advanced cloud based technologie for inventory management and content delivery in service of the dental profession. The Website aims to: ? Website will be a subscription membership site and will become a gateway to communicate with others in related profession. ? Provide an information forum function for collaborative discussion amongst members. ? Calendar of Activities of statewide, nationwide or worldwide relevant meetings, activities and workshops ? A portal with access to available recruitments resource - ? A portal for both equipment and supplies manufacturers to supply lists in one place for professionals to purchase (we are thinking magento with dropshipping plugin) To SUmmarize: we require: a web portal built which can host written, picture and video content a discussion forum membership capabilities payment processing for membership fees ecommerce to sell products If you can frame your quote for Membership site with and without ecommerce capability that will help us understand our options. Hi, See this is a complex system. I will want to be detailed on features you want for portal, forum and E-commercial to make a right quote. For now, i just suggest to use open sources for this system by Joomla + phpBB3 + Virtuemart or Drupal + Ubercart. If you want to build this from the scratch, it's ok but in this case, the system is not as stable as existed opensources. With me, only reason to use it is performance. Looking to hearing from you.
