Automatic USB COM Port Connect/Disconnect

When using Serial COM port adapters on USB, port numbers are assigned randomly. When the adapter is removed, the COM port disapears from the system.

Job is to correct a 20-line VB routine that scans for the available ports and selects and opens a port when found available.

Routine should detect when the USB-COM port is removed and restart scanning. This part doesnt work and is the main job for the coder.

Coder must posess a USB to serial adapter.

Code will be considered functinal when com port is assigned after adapter is plugged in, port detected as closed when removed, and reassigned when replugged.
