This work will require that of an experienced coder. We use HSPcomplete ([url removed, login to view]) as a order/provisioning/billing system. We want to customize HSPcomplete to include the following features from the SoftLayer API to start: 1. Reverse DNS setup *not yet implemented into API 2. Backbone graphs 3. Bandwidth graphs for specific server a VPS is on 4. Get hardware configuration 1. You will need to dig into the HSPcomplete database. Pull the IPs for the specific VPS in the users account. Then allow the user to add the RDNS records for the IPs attached to their account and their account only. As HSPcomplete doesn't list out the database tables you will need to dig into it to figure this out. 2. You will simply need to pull the backbone graphs and display them on a page in HSPcomplete. 3. You will need to pull the HWID from HSPcomplete (what HSPcomplete views the node HWID as) and then pull the specific bandwidth graphs for that particular node. For this there will need to be a place for us to match the HSPcomplete HWID to the SoftLayer HWID so it knows which graph to pull. 4. Similar to above with the HWIDs needing to match, and it will pull and display the hardware configuration for the specific server. Added twist - to be able to access the API, we will have one server dedicated to the API on the softlayer network. You will need to use this server to get the data and then transfer it over to the HSPcomplete server which is not on the softlayer network. I will of course provide access to the API and a testing HSPcomplete server.
## Deliverables
1) Complete and fully-functional working program(s) in executable form as well as complete source code of all work done.
2) Deliverables must be in ready-to-run condition, as follows (depending on the nature of the deliverables):
a) For web sites or other server-side deliverables intended to only ever exist in one place in the Buyer's environment--Deliverables must be installed by the Seller in ready-to-run condition in the Buyer's environment.
b) For all others including desktop software or software the buyer intends to distribute: A software installation package that will install the software in ready-to-run condition on the platform(s) specified in this bid request.
3) All deliverables will be considered "work made for hire" under U.S. Copyright law. Buyer will receive exclusive and complete copyrights to all work purchased. (No GPL, GNU, 3rd party components, etc. unless all copyright ramifications are explained AND AGREED TO by the buyer on the site per the coder's Seller Legal Agreement).
