Cookie script

I need a cookie script coded for my website. The script needs to have a similar function to a redirection script, but with a few differences. Each time someone signs up for my newsletter on my site, I would like a cookie placed on their computer, that lasts for 7 days - either when they click the submit button, or upon being redirected to the 'Thankyou' page (which is only accessible through signing up), whatever works best. The cookie will then enable them to access a special discount offer page for 7 days from the time they signed up, a link for which is sent to them in an email. Basically, if they click on the link they are sent within 7 days, they can access/are redirected to the special discount page. If they click on the link after 7 days, they are redirected to a different page on which I will have a message saying they have missed out. I don't want the cookie to reset itself on someone's computer after the 7 days have expired, as is the case with many redirection cookies, if the person revisits the page on which it was set. Thanks ## Deliverables 1) Complete and fully-functional working program(s) in executable form as well as complete source code of all work done. 2) Deliverables must be in ready-to-run condition, as follows (depending on the nature of the deliverables): a) For web sites or other server-side deliverables intended to only ever exist in one place in the Buyer's environment--Deliverables must be installed by the Seller in ready-to-run condition in the Buyer's environment. b) For all others including desktop software or software the buyer intends to distribute: A software installation package that will install the software in ready-to-run condition on the platform(s) specified in this bid request. 3) All deliverables will be considered "work made for hire" under U.S. Copyright law. Buyer will receive exclusive and complete copyrights to all work purchased. (No GPL, GNU, 3rd party components, etc. unless all copyright ramifications are explained AND AGREED TO by the buyer on the site per the coder's Seller Legal Agreement). ## Platform All Windows operating systems, Mac OS.
