Looking for a needle in a haystack, anyone know or familiar with the now defunct Bullseye Software Point-of-Sale software? I have a client that needs to go to a new POS system, and I'm struggling with trying to get the data out of their existing DOS-based software. There is [login to view URL] in the directory, but I've found no DDF file thus far. I am able to open the 43 .dat files using BTsearch, so I should be able to painstakingly create a DDF manually, but was wondering if anyone knew of a better way to extract the contents to a flat file so we can import the inventory into another solution such as Microsoft's POS. The Bullseye software has no built-in exporting capability, and the backup it performs only copies the dat files to the location you specify. I have the directory zipped up (32MBs), as well as backups available for download, but I will only make them available to the winning bidder.
