Customize jomsocial components (integrated in a Joomla Site)

I need to customize some jomsocial components. All the requeriments are based in customize some PHP5 (object oriented) components. The components are from jomsocial. You can register into this site and check the functionalities that I'm refering to, for example: I would need to customize: "Advanced search" "Invite friends" would be as a "Petition service" described below. Explanation of the Requeriments: Customize the following functionalities: a) advanced Search: In the result list that appears after selecting a selection criteria, the users that show up should appear the following information: -Appear the services that the user offers. -The location. -Exists a button near the service that it's offered to make the "Service petition request" Once it's clicked, then the petition should be added in one list called "List of petitions requested". Also an email should be sent to the user selected. b) Petition Service management: -A user can make a petition request as described previously, it's like "Invite friends" functionality already created. The service petition has several status described as: Petition requested: The user demands a service. Petition accepted: The user asked for the service answer his conformity. Petition in course: The user is receiving the service. Petition ended satisfactory : When a service is ended, the receiver of the service qualify the service as satisfactory. Petition ended unsatisfied: When a service is ended, the receiver of the service qualify the service as unsatisfactory. Petition Cancelled: The user requested cancel the petition to him. After completing the status for the service requested also a mandatory field should appear which has to be filled out with comments. Each user has two lists : "Service petition request" and the "Requested petitions to me" Exists already the concept of karma: number of points. Each time a user receive a request, 10 points are substracted from this karma. Each time a user give a service and it's status is "Petition ended satisfactory" the karma is added 10 points. The karma is stored as another field of the profile, like the age, name, location, etc. If one person has a karma of -50 (negative) then is not allowed to make more petitions and a message should show up.
