Alexadex Clone (Sorta) (Online Game)

Imagine alexadex but more general and not based on Alexa. You will be given five sources of data to pull from and from there build an alexadex type site.

The specific details can not be released but only to the winning bidder, here are the development highlights.

- There will be about 5 cronjob based task, meaning they will have be run at the command line, while perl would be preferred, php is an option so long as it can be run at the command line. Ultimately each task is just about pulling data from external sources, running a series of calculations which will be fully provided and doing inserts into the mysql db.

- All and all, there is about 10 php scripts (files), however, most are just selects and inserts based on the pre defined calculations.

- All content pages will be based on mod_rewrite, so experience with .htaccess, etc, etc is a must but it's very general, for example, rather than [url removed, login to view], it will be /quotes/[url removed, login to view]

- Unlike Alexadex, we can't rely on alexa graphs so there will be a need for some sort of graphing function. I know there is several off the shelf versions so we will leave that pretty much open and up to the developer.

- Based this is a free membership type site, experience with membership type programs is suggested. For example, a person will need to register, verify their email address, log into their account, edit their account details, etc, etc.

- All calculations, page names, and overviews will be provide to winning bidder. Ultimately if you can pull external content, develop mod_rewrite based pages and create mysql inserts and selects that handle large amounts of data, you can do this job, however, it will take several hours if not days to complete.
