Need to create a web based service that will allow people to list their products on eBay through one unified web based service. As a database, we can use Magento or OpenCart or MYSQL attached with a PHP framework. Our service will allow them to: 1) Upload their spreadsheet to our website, or 2) Do direct data entry into our website Our website will then upload their products to eBay. Once we get the eBay part going, we will also handle Amazon through the same portal and so on. This will allow small merchants to upload their products to one website and that will then upload to multiple shopping portals like eBay, Amazon etc. This will be a subscription model, i.e, merchants will pay a monthly fee to use our service. In your proposal, please identify which technologies will you use to develop this site. For example, if you think Cake PHP will be best, explain why. If you think Zend will be best, explain why? You must have prior experience with eBay API as that is our first step. If you have Amazon API experience, that is a plus. Do mention how long it will take. I repeat: You must have previous experience with the eBay API. I don't want to spend time learning it.

Hello, As I read your job and am able to do that project. Yes we can do this on cakephp because its more secure and compact. Cakephp strictly follows the conventions and not allow the user to make any changes even to developers also. Hi, I have a team proficient with ecommerce web development, and we have experience working with eBay API, so we can assist professionally. I can provide a lot of testimonies from US / Canada companies outside of Freelancer.com . As to technology used - eBay API uses XML communication interface, so there's no matter what is used on client side. Your side will need to accept spreadsheets in predefined format, or have friendly forms where users will manage their product and submit for transfer to eBay. As you can see this is nothing about any shopping cart engine or techology, but only submitting data to eBay. We would preferably use our custom engine/CMS for this.
