Android App Upgrade

Mobile (android) 1. Time out existing application after being idle for 2mins - close app and request password before allowing access 2. Secure Authentication with 2-step password - users need to have 2 sets of password (a password and a PIN) - app should request for password; if it is correctly entered, then request for PIN - user should not be able to access apps' features if both password or PIN are incorrect 3. Convert recharge credit to Data plan - recharge cards will be loaded onto the SIM via VTU monthly. - app needs to log the expiry date of existing data plan on phone to the server (by sending appropriate SMS or USSD queries to the network and parsing the result) - starting from the expiry date, app should check if airtime have been loaded on SIM, if so initiate appropriate USSD or SMS query to the network to convert airtime to data plan, and if successful, log the new expiry date on server; if unsuccessful app should continue to try at intervals until it is able to do it. -repeat the process again on expiry of data plan. 4. Capture image (Photo) of outlet and submit with transaction details. -include feature to capture outlet image -app should check if feature is enabled for device on server, if true, activate feature at the point of data submission and submit to server; if false submit only transaction data. 5. Store phone details on server every 5mins - every 5mins app should retrieve battery serial no, battery charge level, SIM Network and Serial No, location and store on server. 6. Manage data delivery - before storing data on server, app should check for data connectivity; if not available, it should store the data in a cache on the phone, give feedback and allow user to continue making further entries. - in the background, app should continue to retry data transmission to the server until successful; the progress should be available in the status bar. Server(php/mysql) 7. implement backend logic for the features listed above on middleware(php) and database server(mysql) - build the services and data objects required to make functionalities above work Deliverables Functioning units of code for the aforementioned tasks. No integration with existing system required.
