I need a website for displaying information about flights. It should provide and compare prices on flights on different routes, with different airlines. To give you an impression of what it's about, [this site][1] provides the same service (please note that I do not want a replica of that site).
The scope of this job is to design the website and implement functionality. All the data that will be displayed have allready been provided. Getting that data is not a part of this job.
The website will be implemented using php and html. In addition, some pages will need a dynamic look and feel, so you must have knowledge of javascript/ajax.
A pricegraph is a central element on the website. This graph must both look good, be easy to understand, and be functional (probably with javascript). Using a third part component together with your solution can be acceptable (But we must agree on it before it is implemented). Thus a part of this job might be to know of/find suitable libraries/components. Please give me your thoughts on this when placing a bid. Examples of similar graphs can be found [here][2] and [here][3]
I'd like you to be creative, and if you see flaws in the spec, or you have alternative solutions (even if it is radically different), I'd like to hear it. You are the craftsman, and I'm depending on your skills and ideas to make the site great.
I will be available for questions the whole period. Being a developer myself, I can also contribute with views and ideas if you want it.
Please read the detailed spec for more information, and don't hesitate to post me further questions.
