The eCommerce solution requested is for a new printing business with six products/services. Each one of these products/services has a number of attributes which you will collect from the client and store in a database. Product pricing will be based on: 1. product selected, 2. some product attributes (like quantity and paper), and 3. customer location.
The right candidate will have experience implementing similar eCommerce solutions and can make an informed decision about which shopping cart solution will be the best fit for the requirements specified in this document. The right candidate will have extensive experience with the following technologies: PHP, MySQL, jQuery, Javascript, https.
Please note that this bid should not include front-end user interface design. You will be creating a stripped down version of all facility functions and all supporting pages for check out and data handling. You will also be responsible for configuring a fully operational and functioning administrative module. Front-end graphical user interface will be developed by a separate designer. This solution will be integrated into an existing website and all components should be adaptable to this environment.
Your bid should address the specific requirements addressed in this request. Please include your preliminary recommendation on shopping cart software, a general timeline of deliverables, a breakdown of bid costs and samples of similar work. Please make sure to separate out pricing for “optional?? items (like the Calculator and FedEx) in your bid.
