We are seeking an experienced Full Stack Developer to create an innovative and powerful online learning platform over the full web development stack (OS, DB, App, API, UI). You will be closely interacting and collaborating with the development and management team to ensure all needs, including yours, are fully supported.
You are self-driven, team-oriented, and have a strong background delivering applications across the full spectrum of web development. If you have a passion for new web technologies, database programming, and believe you still have lots to learn, then this is the job for you. You will take on a challenging, yet rewarding, leading role of a Full Stack Developer, building the front-end HTML, CSS and JS, to server-side code and database architecture.
Job Requirements:
• Advanced Javascript and one or more of the following languages: C#, Java, Scala, PHP, Ruby, Python
• Comfortable with modern Javascript libraries/frameworks: jQuery, HTML5, CSS3, Backbone, Angular, JSON
• Experience with modern web frameworks: Play Framework, Spring MVC, ASP.NET, etc.
• Database development and management with Relational or NoSQL databases (i.e. MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, etc.)
• Experience with testing frameworks: Jasmine, JUnit, Selenium, etc.
• Computer science or software engineering degree

I started programming when I was 12 in Visual Basic 6 and since my enrollment in post secondary I've learned extensive front and back end development. I've used MVC frameworks such as PHPFuel and Phalcon. Phalcon is a PHP extension written in C making it the fastest framework on the market today.(You should check some benchmarks) I understand how to use & build complex back and front ends using access control lists, caching, object relational mapping and much more.
