I currently have a Wordpress plug-in that imports articles for future posting. With this plug-in I can load hundreds of articles to be posted steadily throughout future months.
As each article gets posted... I would like another plug-in to add random hyperlinks to these posts. The hyperlinks would come from posts that have already been posted to the database.
For example,
1. Let's say I start out with 50 posts currently in the database
2. Now a new article is scheduled to be posted in 5 minutes from now
3. As it gets posted, here is what the new plug-in would do
a. Check the database for previous posts
b. Randomly select between 1 and 10 of these posts
c. Create hyperlinks from the randomly selected posts
d. Sprinkle these hyperlinks randomly throughout the text in the article currently being posted.
This means that when the next future article gets posted… the new plug-in will now have 51 previous posts to choose from when getting and creating the hyperlinks. And so on.
