Audio and text syncronization

This project is to build an audio player and web page that sync the input of text into the page with the audio being listened to. The scenario is that the user listens to the audio (which is of people talking), sometimes sometimes stopping it, restarting it, moving around in the audio, and transcribes the audio into text which they enter into the web page. The project has 3 basic parts: 1) To track the user's text entry in such a way that the text can be synchronized with the audio 2) To build a simple player that allows for playing the audio while entering text, including some shortcut keys for moving around in the audio 3) To support a *playback* mode for the player in which the text associated with a particular point in the audio is highlighted as the audio is played (again the user could start playing at a random point, and the text would highlight at that point); alternatively, the user can click on a point in the text and the audio will play at that point. I can provide sample audio files and transcriptions if that is helpful. The player should be embedded in a web page that will run on my Linux web server and I will provide you login info to upload the player, etc. to the server. Please don't hesitate to ask any questions before bidding. ## Deliverables 1) Complete and fully-functional working program(s) in executable form as well as complete source code of all work done. 2) Deliverables must be in ready-to-run condition, as follows (depending on the nature of the deliverables): a) For web sites or other server-side deliverables intended to only ever exist in one place in the Buyer's environment--Deliverables must be installed by the Worker in ready-to-run condition in the Buyer's environment. b) For all others including desktop software or software the buyer intends to distribute: A software installation package that will install the software in ready-to-run condition on the platform(s) specified in this bid request. 3) All deliverables will be considered "work made for hire" under U.S. Copyright law. Buyer will receive exclusive and complete copyrights to all work purchased.
