We have a web site (in-house designed) which needs its cross browser capability improved. The three browsers which need to be targeted are:
1. Chrome (latest, ver 24)
2. Firefox (ver 17+)
3. IE 8 & 9 (urgh)
There are 6 pages, 3 variants on the same theme and on the whole they render correctly in Chrome (so use this as your base). The server uses some php includes to import common components (nothing dynamic). In addition to cross browser the following items also need to be addressed:
1. A large amount of blank space at bottom of page (related to using a negative relative offset)
2. Tables at time render incorrectly.
3. Would like the footer's columns (three item table) to be left, centre and right justified.
Please ignore content as this is a draft we know more work on the copy needs to be done. The site can be viewed at [login to view URL] which should allow effort to be understood. We can provide the *.php files if needed but "straight" HTML as a deliverable would be acceptable, HTML needs to be clean, concise and regular (we are a Unix-y shop and will probably use vi/emacs to maintain). We expect this to be trivial for someone with good HTML mark-up skills.
