Hi guys This may well be very easy for someone. Here is the program: I am using two windows media players within my program which each obviously can play wav files. For simplicity I will call these 'mp1' and 'mp2'. I am using an Echo gina soundcard, which is basically 4 soundcards in one in as much as it has 8 outputs. In Windows the card is read as 4 cards giving pairs 1+2, 3+4, 5+6, 7+8. What I want to do is to tell each of these two media players which soundcard I want the output sent to. So, I would like a form in which I can search the system for output devices (soundcards) and select which one to use for mp1 and obviously the same for mp2 etc. The result will be that I can send the sound from mp1 to soundcard outputs 1+2, and the sound from mp2 to soundcard outputs 3+4 or whatever. I can then hook up a mixer and control the levels externally. It will be like having two CD machines into a DJ mixer and then I will be happy. Make sense? I have been told that this can easily be done in C++. I have zero knowledge of C++ and a basic to intermediate knowledge of VB6, so I need something I can use in VB6 and the knowledge of how to link it in or whatever. Any questions please email me and I will try to give you a better picture, but I am sure that you will know what I am trying to do.
