Need a simple way to encrypt files using standard DES, from the Linux command line. Will need to utilize an existing package for compatibility purposes. I have attached the portable c source code. I only need access to the two DES functions: DES and DESkey (The 3DES functions/code can be ignored or stripped out) So, for example, I want to be able to type a command in the shell similar to the following: DES("12345678",[login to view URL],[login to view URL]) where "12345678" is my DES key, [login to view URL] is the unencrypted file, and [login to view URL] is the outputted encrypted file. I suspect this can easily be accomplished using a basic shell script, but I do not know enough about C programming to figure it out. The attached source code is also available at: [login to view URL] Thanks in advance for your consideration of this project.
