We are developing a user application in C#/.NET. We are interested in developing a small, lightweight browser extension for IE (and possibly Firefox) that our installer could install (when the user installs us)and that would subsequently call our application (if we were running) and pass parameters (such as URL, title, meta tags) each time the user visits a page on the Web. The program would not involve any user-visible UI, cannot have any adverse impact on browsing, must be small in size, self contained, and needs to be cleanly installable and uninstallable without special permissions. I'm not sure what the best way to call us would be. Invoking a program we provide as an .exe and passing command line parameters would be very inefficient. If there were some way for you to call a class in our .NET code, that would be the best. Does this sound like a feasible project? What would your approach be, and what time and cost might be involved?

I've a new simple BHO project for which I require an estimate of time and cost. Project's specifications are mentioned below. Please provide a quote for the develoopment of this BHO.
I need a BHO which can monitor IE's "paste" [login to view URL] paste action's target include all controls (such as input or object etc) in different frames, does this possible? Another requirement is monitor upload files. when those event occurs, give user a warning box to assure.
I need this project because I have a project which need a BHO to protect IE user not leaking secret info unconsciously. So when he copy to a IE window, a warning box should appear. Now we can capture "onPaste" event of text or textarea, but richedit control's paste can't be captured. You can try it by gmail's edit new mail. so, we need BHO for that.
Also we need another assure-box for submit upload file. When user press submit button, a warning box list all files to be uploaded appears. User can cancel or commit.
Is this possible by BHO? How much and how soon?
