Have done many conversions from and to different databases. transfering over internet will takes main time. You will have file with sql statements, that cat import to your sql server.

This sounds like a pretty straight forward project. If the database is accessible with user/password, without having to go through the program application that it sounds like is on the CD, then I would be able to generate a SQL script that would allow to you load the data into your system. I would not be able to guarantee the validity of the data without seeing both table structures and knowing if there are any required fields or external table references. I could examine this before the completion of the project and let you know if there would be any data problems before proceeding with the script generation. If you know that both table structures are identical, then that would be a huge plus.

Hi, My name is Michael. I am a database management systems programmer and have been programming in FoxPro since 1994 and in Delphi since 2003. I am very familiar with Paradox files and the exporting of this data to SQL tables (MySQL or MSSQL). I will modify an existing utility I have that can read Paradox files and upload them to a SQL server. Assumptions: -You have SQL server (MicroSoft or MySQL) loaded and configured on your file server with a privileged account that can create databases and tables. This conversion utility will cost you $450 US and will take me three days from the time you give me the Paradox tables. Sincerely, Michael
