Claus-o-meter®
Overview:The product is a simple device in which a meter moves at the command of a remote control. Two variants will be made, one with an LED/LCD bar meter, and one with an analog meter. The meter moves from the base reading to a maximum reading. During the movement of this meter, a sound-generator will emit a tone which starts out low at the base reading, and increases in both volume and pitch as the meter approaches it’s maximum reading. *Once the command to move the meter reading is ceased, the sound will likewise cease*.

## Deliverables
1) Complete and fully-functional working program(s) in executable form as well as complete source code of all work done.
2) Fully-functional Gerber Files for SMA assembly including parts lists and PCB layout acceptable for producing a working prototype.
3) Deliverables must be in ready-to-run condition, as follows (depending on the nature of the deliverables): firmware ready for burn-in, Gerber Files and PCB layout files ready for delivery to SMA assembly firm.
*4) An analog meter display and a digital meter display as described in the description section above.*
5) All deliverables will be considered "work made for hire" under U.S. Copyright law. Buyer will receive exclusive and complete copyrights to all work purchased. (No GPL, GNU, 3rd party components, etc. unless all copyright ramifications are explained AND AGREED TO by the buyer on the site per the coder's Seller Legal Agreement).
## Platform
I'm not an engineer (obviously) so most of this is open to your discression. However, the MSC 430 microprocessor from TI seems to be a good base (seems to fill all the possible needs, is cheap, and appears relativley easy to work with), so working on recommended platforms for that processor might be a good start.
*Analog display is expected to be designed using to a servo, indicator arm, and display backing (or similar).*
