Mobile App Development iOS (Optimisation of existing iOS app)

We are looking for a mobile developer to polish off our app which we believe is around 95% complete. The current app was outsourced to an agency in India and the project is likely to complete in the next week or so. Following the completion, we will be testing the app with a small group of users and will expand the number of testers over time. The test will help us understand how users receive the app and we will funnel their feedback into our product roadmap. We need someone locally to pick up the project and perform the outlined task below. They will also help us launch the app and work with us to take the app to the next level. We expect to have a long term working relationship with this developer as we need ongoing dev support as well as help to implement our product road map. Below are the list of task relating to this project, though it may change depending on our initial meeting - Security check, ensuring that the app is utilising appropriate encryption and doesn't have any glaring holes - Speed optimisation, ensuring that the app is snappy and does not freeze / hang on normal every day usage - UX design update, not looking for a complete overhaul, more so looking to tweak the design for better user experience. The amount to tweak will rely on your recommendation - Adding app purchases, we currently have a back end system that can handle premium plans, we just need a system so that people can pay for it - Weed out existing bugs during our beta testing phase - Implementation of features gained from test phase - Launch: specifically to App Store In terms of the app itself, its best that we show you as we have the working prototype. In the mean time, you can assume that it is a photo gallery app with a social twist. Note that the price is negotiable and if you have the skills we are after, we will be more than happy to discuss on going working arrangements. All applicants must have examples of current work We are looking for people with the following skills / requirements: - iOS Development Experience with a proven portfolio, Please send this over in your comment - or Android development Experience with a proven portfolio - Design skills are not required but if you have these skills, this would give you an edge up - Experience in working with Cloud hosting is a bonus (Amazon AWS) - Experience with MySQL is required - Demonstrated experience in incorporating design into an existing app - Attention to detail during the development and testing phase - Experience in launching an app into the App store (or Google Play depending your iOS/Android experience) - You must be located in Australia - Applicants in Sydney is preferred, though even if you are not in Sydney, you can work from home
