I have worked on many location related apps (they were not dating apps) .... for example one app i have developed that allow employers to find workers using location ....and other is to show administrator where all the users are in real time using their location.... I am also working on a location based social network right now ....which i cannot disclose....but it has some similarity with your idea...

Users : -user can do manual process or social media login process for the registrations -user can manage profile with the details and photos -user can search other users based on the gender, age, location, interestetc -user check out other user profile pics and videos etc -user can chat with each other and can meet each other for the party. -user can see other user activity over particular area.
