Crochet design

I'm looking to develop a product aimed at crocheters that would take a crochet pattern as input and output a simulated 3D image of how that pattern would look like when done. The form of a finished crochet piece depends on 3 factors: 1- number of stiches per row For example: Row 1: 10 stiches Row 2: 2 stiches on each previous stich (total of 20 stiches on row 2) Row 3: 2 stiches on stich 1, 2 stiches on stich 2, skip next stich, etc. 2- types of stiches used: some stiches are taller than others 3- type of yarn (some yarns are thicker than others) 4- hook size 5- gauge - the tension that a person uses when crocheting, that will result in a piece being a certain size. Ex: gauge of a shirt - if you crochet 4 rows of 20 sc (a type of stich), you should have a piece measuring 4"x4". The crocheters need to do this sample piece to adjust the tension to ensure the final piece will have the correct size at the end. The product that I have in mind would at the very least take as input the first 2 items of the list above and would output a 3D image of the crochet piece. Items 3 and 4 may be easy to incorporate as well. Item 5 can just be an arbitrary one.
