We need a barcode scanning android/ios app that will scan tickets barcode, read the ticket number and then query the database for its validity and if valid it should then perform a table row update (e.g. update the ticket to be checked-in, update time stamp, etc..).
We would also want a scenario where the app can connect to our server and pre-download all the data for an event, in which case the user might not need internet connection for the real-time database query so would make process faster and efficient. The downloaded and modified data can then be synchronized back to the server at a later time.
