Collect HRV Data from a bluetooth belt and send to a server

We are an international management consultancy specialized, among other fields, in health topics concerned with stress and regeneration. We are using the several devices for collecting heart rate data in large projects that we then analyse with our proper software easyBIOFEEDBACK© that we have developed. One of the devices we use are bluetooth chest belts able to measure beat-to-beat exact heart rates. We are now looking for a partner who can develop an app for us that collects/sends and stores data- The app development is based on the following requirements: sender: bluetooth belts (different labels: Polar H7, Zephyr ….), beat-to-beat (R-R) data fe: [login to view URL] and [login to view URL] others may be later receiver (two possibilities): 1. Android > 4.3 later (iPhone/iPad maybe later) 2. Android > 4.3 later + iPhone/iPad (same development cycle)  Please provide us with two different offers for both possibilities! The prog. will be provided direct from our server (no need for an apple itunes and/or google play account) Procedure: Connection between 1 belt and 1 Android device • APP is being started and connects automatically to the Bluetooth belt • The APP is configured with o database on our target server (http/s link), apache, mysql, we may use webservices to connect, to keep the system flexible OR write data direct in the database (what would you recommend?) o User-ID, password for connecting to the server (should be requested and can be stored for further usage) • APP connects via webservice (or direct to mysql DB) to the target server and sends initial user identification + who is being measured (entry), belt type (automatic identification or manual selection) Connection is established via WIFI or GSM • Data is being sent concurrently (unique user id, Date/time/ms, RR,…); If connection to the target server is lost, all data is buffered and being sent later once the connection is established again Take care: there will be a lot of data (80 – 100 records/min) • In parallel data is saved on the mobile device as a text file, date/time/ Take care: • Connection has to be closed manually and not only by closing the app • If app crashes, restart and continue without any interactions, but we will send this to the server If possible: Connection of n belts to 1 Android • Connection of 1…n belts to 1 Android (any idea how many belts can be connected) • Procedure stays the same – only data of several users is sent Display on mobile device: • Connection • Speed • HR (hear rate) no other parameters (for now), maybe HR curve • Duration • ? There is NO goal to display complex calculations! Just: Connect, collect data, send data just in time and store data, handle connection lost and app crashes.
