We're looking for a talented artist to put their imagination to work illustrating an eye-catching diagram for our website's splash page. The way the diagram is illustrated is up to you, the more creative the better. It can be made using Illustrator, Photoshop, pencil, watercolour, sand, banana peel, anything else (you get the idea)! We have an image ready to send to the successful bidder that details some things that need to be in the finished diagram for it to make sense, but other details such as the concept and characters will be completely up to you. We are looking for something quirky and individual, with a light-hearted touch and charm. The finished illustration/diagram will need to look good when converted to a PNG file about 950px wide and 400px tall. Needless to say please point us to samples of your work when bidding. We will favour any artists showing examples of work commissioned on freelancer.com so that we can compare the feedback for that project with the finished product. We look forward to discussing this project with you.

My name is Claudia Mesquita. After working for 13 years in the Research and Development department of a major Portuguese Graphic Company (Ambar, SA) as an artist and graphics designer, I started off as a freelancer in this area. I have got a vast experience in drawing (manual or vector art) photo mask and retouching, editing and final arts. After graduating in “Marketing Management” at the Portuguese School of Marketing and Administration (IPAM), I have completed professional trainings in Photoshop, Freehand and QuarkXpress. Furthermore, I have a large experience in Illustrator and Indesign Adobe software. Finally, I have also attended a workshop called "Drawing in Action", by the School of Arts in Vila Nova de Cerveira.

I have taken 3 years of college, one of Art Fundamentals, and 2 of Animation and Graphics, and I have lots of experience in cartoon and realistic drawing.
